And I know every inch of these beaches — Destin, Fort Walton, Navarre, Grayton Beach, Pensacola Beach — and exactly when and where the magic happens.

Here's What A Session With Me Actually Looks Like
STEP 01
Book Your Date
Choose your package, pick a date that works for you, and complete your contract online. Your spot is officially held once booking is confirmed. Summer golden hour dates move fast so the earlier you book, the better your options.
STEP 02
Prep and Plan
I'll reach out before your session to confirm your beach location and send over a quick prep guide. No need to stress about posing or outfits, I've got you covered on all of it.
STEP 03
Show Up and Enjoy It
Arrive five to ten minutes early and leave the rest to me. The first few minutes are always just getting comfortable. I spend time with the kids, we get moving, and by the time golden hour hits everyone has forgotten there's a camera there.
STEP 04
Receive Your Gallery
Your professionally edited gallery arrives within two weeks via a private online link with full download rights. Print them, share them, hang them on your wall, they're yours.

Crowning Jewel Photography is fully licensed and insured. All family sessions can also be used for baby announcements, graduations, maternity, couples, proposals, engagements, etc. PARTIES OF 10+ WILL ONLY BE ELIGIBLE FOR LARGER PACKAGES.

Golden hour on the Emerald Coast runs roughly 6:30 to 7:30pm in summer. It's the most beautiful hour of light you'll ever photograph in and it fills up fast. If you've been thinking about it, now is the time to grab your date.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should we book our session?
Please aim to book about 2-3 weeks out if you know you want photos soon or are traveling to the area. I do take last-minute requests frequently, but that is discretional depending on my schedule.
What should we wear for our session?
I send out a complementary posing and style guide for your session that has all the details. But the TL:DR is coordinating colors or matching outfits, whichever you prefer. Neutral tones, pastels, and soft patterns photograph beautifully.
Where do sessions take place?
I have several locations I recommend based on the are you are close to. Whether that's a beach or park location, I am happy to give ideas. I have a few locations I typically shoot at to choose from on my booking form.
Can we order prints through you?
Yes! You can order professional-quality prints and albums directly from your online gallery.
What if my kids won’t sit still?
That’s totally fine! I focus on natural, candid moments and let kids be themselves. I’ll guide you into poses that feel relaxed and fun.
What happens if the weather isn’t perfect?
I only cancel sessions in cases of extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain or severe storms. Overcast skies, wind, or light drizzle won’t stop us—we can still capture beautiful and unique moments in a variety of natural conditions. Your comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I’m committed to making your session special, no matter the weather!
